We understand that living with a learning disability can make a number of daily tasks and situations more challenging for individuals and their families. We are always on hand to offer the support you need for the present and future. We believe that having a good life with positive outcomes can be a reality for everyone, regardless of their age or presumed ability.

Our learning disability teams support people with a host of needs to lead full and independent lives. From providing small packages of community-based support to people who are very independent, to promoting the health and happiness of people with more complex learning and physical disabilities, we can provide the support that is right for you.

Our specialist learning disability services

We are committed to delivering genuinely person-centred services. We focus on really getting to know people – how they want to be supported, what they want to achieve in life and what is important to them – to offer support that is as individual as they are.

Every person we support has an outcome-focused support plan, which looks at how we can work together to make their aspirations a reality. This might include goals around being healthy, accessing the community, staying connected with family and friends, or learning new skills.

Innovative support focussed on supporting people to be as independent as possible within their own homes and in the local community. We support and encourage individuals with household tasks, going shopping and managing money, as well as accessing local facilities like leisure centres and libraries, and fulfilling their education or employment wishes.

People with disabilities deserve the chance to build a life for themselves in the communities in which they choose to live.
